I received the Da Vinci Mini about a week ago. I am extremely happy with it. It was shipped directly to my door without any issues. My wife and I were able to set it up easily within an hour.

We had some trouble setting up the Wi-Fi connection initially, but after a few minutes of troubleshooting, we got it working.

Once the firmware update was installed, it was able to connect the printer with the 3D modeling software we were using via Wi-Fi and was ready to start printing immediately.

We loved how compact the printer is, especially compared to the previous model we discussed, the Qidi, which was much bigger. This printer is surprisingly quiet, too.

We liked being able to see exactly what we were printing, as opposed to having to look at a screen.

We believe that having the ability to remotely control the printer would be great, but that is more likely something that you would have in a more intermediate model, rather than this beginner set.

For a staple of this busy market that has new models coming out pretty much every day, the Mars 3 MSLA from Elegoo is not just a great 3D printer in general, but also a great tool for showing beginners how to get started on their 3D printing journey.

PROS

• Excellent level of detail – The 4k resolution this printer can build at is a pretty crazy level of detail, especially in this price range.
• Very fast plastic hardening time – The cure time for each layer is only 2 and a half seconds!

CONS

• Frustrating test build – The test model that comes as standard with the mars 3 might be off-putting to a lot of people who are using this printer for the first time, especially if it is their first 3d printer in general.

OUR THOUGHTS

The print quality is great. It prints and cures extremely fast. It’s nice and quiet too. We haven’t encountered any issues yet.

Whilst that may change after owning it for a long time, it currently works great.

The plastic base for this printer feels a little cheaper than the metals ones we have covered in this guide, but it still works fine.

It runs pretty coolly, but you need to pay attention to the temperature settings if you’re running this for a long time.

Overall, a very solid intermediate that won’t scare away newcomers to this 好想被狂躁.
